Just to fill you in on who everyone is...

      Our elder daughter Rachel and her husband Ed live in Streatham (south London) in a big house with a billiard room.  Their son Thomas-the-elder, a Cambridge graduate, is living at home this year converting his degree in history into Law. His sister Hellie is in her second year at Newcastle University, reading English and Classics. Joseph distinguished himself at GCSE last summer, and is now embarked on his A-Level course at the Oratory School. Lizzie is slightly further down the educational ladder, at Streatham High School for Girls.   (The picture includes their father Edward.)

 Our elder son Alexander also lives in London with his wife Ketki and two small sons, James-the-Younger and Thomas-the-Younger. They also live, part-time, on the shores of Loch Fyne. Their tortoise Govind lives permanently in London.

  Our second son James and his wife Cathy Sampson live in Beijing with their children Alistair, Rachel-the-Younger, and Kirsty.

  And our younger daughter Helen lives in Thessaloniki with her husband David and sons Fergus, Archie, and Mungo.. 

My sister Helen and her husband Roger live in CT, although they are often to be found in other parts of the world. Their son Theo lives and works in Washington. Yes, that's....

My husband's sister Christina lives in south Edinburgh -- I'm looking for a suitable pic.
