Koigu shawl

Isn't Koigu wonderful?

The shawl pattern is Myrna Stahman's top-down Faroese shawl from Knitters magazine, Spring, 1998. The pattern is also in the book "The best of Knitter's Magazine Shawls and Scarves" (XRX, 1999).. It was a lot of fun to knit. Here is Helen wearing it, holding Mungo, with Archie standing, in the garden at Kirkmichael in the summer of 1999.
